Legacy Chapter 1.5 He played around with the liquid color on the tips of his fingers: a bright red that held a metallic hint in its scent. It always amazed him at how such trivial things such as colors and smells could have such an effect on people. The wrong color on a wall could make a couple fight for hours and an odd smell in a room could drive a man insane. Humanity had no limits to the chaos it could create over such little things.
So many of them were such hollow, soulless things, never once thinking about anything or anyone but themselves. They never once bothered to take a look and smell the blood-stained roses they helped create. That’s why they need someone to help them, and for a long time he tried his best to do just that. Then the unthinkable happened and he had to stop. Now he was given an unimaginable gi
Heart of Thorns Chapter 6 I’ve been helping Kyndsie with the mutant kittens for the past week or so. I’m grateful that Wes is allergic to cats and tends to avoid the mutant kittens ever since the incident with Nippy. I don’t think I would be able to talk to him since the Professor made it perfectly clear that she doesn’t want him to get involved with the other Succubi. I just hope he keeps to that rule, even if Mara is trying her hardest to corrupt him.
Layla has tried to talk to me about Wes, but I’ve resorted to just listening to her tell me what he’s been doing. The Professor has placed him with the experimental foods for starters, which mainly involves the Professor’s Star Juice, Liquid Insanity, and her newest project: bouncing marshmallows. So far poor Wes has gotten the stuff in his hair, accidently eaten it, and may have literally started bouncing off of the walls of the lab. If
Legacy Chapter 4Hanna came to my room the next morning. She told me that my therapist, my jailor, has called off work for an extended vacation, one that she is not sure when will end. That means Erato has already sunk her fangs and claws into his delicate flesh and is tormenting him
with thoughts that are no doubt plaguing him right now. The good news is that she will leave me alone for a while, and that I may not have to deal with another mental case trying to fix me.
“I hope you don’t mind having a few days off of therapy. I’m sure one of our other therapists won’t mind subbing in for Dr. Harrow for a few days, or until he gets back. I’ll just see if there are any that have the time. I just wanted you to know so you won’t freak out about having a change in the schedule.”
I’d rather like to get out of here, since I’m not crazy.
Hanna left then, allowing me some privacy before my scheduled time in the cour
LateLove has gone from my life like a shadow of a dream, leaving me cold and empty
Another disappointment in a story of sorrow unimaginable and pain unberable
Those who promised help have retreated back to their mundane existances
Everyone has been lying to me, and now they care about me far too late
