Liquid snow falls from my eyes

Like silken sapphires flow from my pen

Nothing to say

So brief and yet so deep. The emotions behind these thirteen words run so deep. The real beauty is in the sad truth - how few words we actually need to say what's inside our hearts. I love the imagery in this poem - excellent choice of words and nice alliteration - gives it a sweet, melodic touch that makes it so beautifully touching. It's true that our emotions are what inspire us to write, to let our words flow in a way that might communicate what we are feeling and yet, that doesn't stop our tears... overall, this is very well written. The brevity of this poem makes its impact all the more profound. Truth be told, I'm actually inspired right now - something along the lines of '
Sapphire Tears'... maybe, I'll try something. Anyway, I think the true essence of poetry is that not only it conveys what you're trying to say but also manages to produce a response in the reader - which it does, wonderfully. So, great work <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=":) (Smile)"/>
